stir crazy

This is what you do when you're cooped up all day avoiding the heat.

Henry had me help him make a snail from pipe cleaners and chopsticks.

Max made his own without any help.

Complex Laziness

I put together a jewelry display for one of our local accounts.

I had to screw 12 of these L hooks into the display. I hate doing it by hand. Yes, it's only 12 hooks but I hate doing manually that which could be done mechanically...

Faced a 3/8" diameter steel rod.

Drilled a hole...

Slotted it to the hole so that I could insert the L hook into the slot.

Turned the piece slightly and milled the slot so that it would lock the hook like a bayonet.

Worked like a charm in the cordless drill...

4th of July in Philomath

As is traditional, we went to the Philomath Classic Car Show on Saturday.

Ugly, but I love them.

Tin hat for an air cleaner cover.

"Rat Runner Rod"

Yes, a beer keg...

Felice and I want one of these.

BMW Isetta.

Sky (blue) Saxon.

I don't know what this is but I like it.

Henry takes a pic of a jeep.

Henry's kindergarten friend Tucker shows Henry his "Grampy" Steve's rod.

How cool is Philomath High?

I spotted this at a booth selling model cars. The Amazamatic. Need to buy one off of Ebay.

Henry and Max play in the UFO.
